Hola mi amigo

I have been so stressed.

What else is new though.

I do think I have a hernia from my appendectomy. It was listed as a side effect. I thought I was ok since I already have a mesh from a prior hernia repair, but apparently my body gives zero fucks. That will be surgery 14, so let’s hope it isn’t that. Geesh.

I did some photos recently for my business. I hate them, but they’re not too awful

This is probably one of my favorites. It is backwards because I didn’t flip it, but you get the idea. I have some more that are more silly. I might use those for social media. Ugh, it makes me feel gross to even think it, but social media is a necessary evil in my business world. I guess you have a bunch too, but let’s just say it, you have the face for it.

I updated my website again. I just felt like it lacked the essence that is my hilarious and charming nature. LoL It’s true though, I heard it from a friend. In the mirror.

I also have so many ideas for my business. I plan to have a 3-armed queendom, if you will. I will keep the homebase of AliciaKay.co with Lipstick and Lacerations podcast, blog, yada yada. Then I want to bring back Empowered Solitaires Society. I just really feel a pull to teach women about self-sufficiency, independence… no more grabbing some dude to feel more “complete” or to avoid fear or to fit a societal mold. Gross. Then, I want to launch “Let Her Bloom” for young girls who are quiet, introspective. My little introverts of the world that everyone wants to pull from their books and microscopes, you know? Show them the power in their quiet. Girls in libraries and labs, or at writing desks or telescopes… We are shown that power is on a stage with a megaphone at a rally… but that is terror for us girls. There is so much to derive from knowledge, the mind… I mean, you’re the last person I need to tell that to, you know it. People were always trying to change me. Make me louder, pull me out of my shell. But that’s wrong. It’s so wrong. Maybe someday I’ll venture into the side of quiet for boys, but for now, I know quiet girls, so that is where I’ll start.

Anyway, I’m off to gather old magazines to create Zines for my business. This gal has some plans.
